OFF THE CHAIN: River Road dogs Star and Cocoa were freed from their chains Saturday, courtesy of Freedom for Friends volunteers (pictured). The young dogs have been chained up since they were weaned and Freedom for Friends volunteers built them two connected, but separate fences, so they could play together, but not have to share food.
