Earl R. Jordan
March 23, 1943 –  June 28, 2014

Mr. Earl Ray Jordan, age 71, a resident of NC Hwy. 32 N., Washington, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at his home.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Everetts Church of Christ and will be conducted by Dennis Davis.

Earl was born in Beaufort County on March 23, 1943 to the late Leroy and Doris Waters Jordan. He was a 1961 graduate of Bath High School, he served in the United States Army, was a Drill Sergeant in the National Guard and was a retired mechanic with PCS Phosphate in Aurora. On July 3, 1981 he married Patricia Ann Baynor who survives. He was a member of Everett’s Church of Christ and was a charter member of the DART team, the Eastern North Carolina Disaster Assistance Relief Team.

Survivors include his wife Patricia B. Jordan of the home, two brothers, Murrell Jordan and wife Lavetta, Lowell Jordan and wife Debra all of Pinetown and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Mae Daniels.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday July 1, 2014 at Everetts Church of Christ and other times at the home.
