Mary Frances Isbell

Mary Frances Isbell, 90, of 201 Lance Drive, Elizabeth City, NC died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center.  Born in Wayne County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Leslie Waugh and Lelia Boyd Waugh and the widow of Albert Lee Isbell. She was a member of Towne South Church of Christ.

Mrs. Isbell is survived by two daughters Melissa Lewis and husband Garrett of Elizabeth City and Shauna Beth Isbell of Kinston, NC; a son Michael Lee Isbell and wife Jo Ann of Washington, NC; a brother Leslie Waugh, Jr. of Sumter, SC; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Peggy Floyd and her step-mother, Rosalie Waugh.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Towne South Church of Christ. The family will be receiving friends at 201 Lance Drive, Elizabeth City, NC and for one hour, 1:00 to 2:00 pm, prior to the service.  Memorial donations may be made to the Towne South Church of Christ Building Fund, 2224 Peartree Road, Elizabeth City, NC  27909 or Mid-Atlantic Christian University General Fund, 715 Poindexter Street, Elizabeth City, NC  27909.   Twiford Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, 405 E.
