Coldwell Banker makes contribution to American Red Cross

DIANE EDWARDS | CONTRIBUTED CHIPPING IN: The Brokers of Coldwell Banker Coastal Rivers Realty (CBCRR) donated a percentage of their sales during a recent two week period or made donations to the American Red Cross to be used for the Beaufort County Tornado Relief Fund. Gerri McKinley, Broker/Owner (Left)  and Diane Edwards (Right), a CBCRR Outreach Coordinator, presented checks for over $1000+  to Summer Woodard (Center), Chief Development Officer, Eastern NC Region, American Red Cross and members of her local team which included Kay Summerfield, Rhett Alligood and Rich Morin. CBCRR Brokers also made contributions to the Belhaven-Pantego Rotary Club after the first set of storms and provided hotel rooms for families hurt by the tornadoes. The need for the approximately 197 Beaufort County families who incurred damage from the series of tornadoes this past Spring is still great. The American Red Cross responds to over 800 disasters in Eastern NC each year. Donations can be made to the American Red Cross by calling (252) 355-3800. The Eastern NC Region's ability to assist families is contingent upon public support. Remember, it is never too late and no amount is too small.
