Hyde County resident to celebrate 100th birthday

REGINA SPENCER | CONTRIBUTED HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Lizzie Holloway, born in Hyde County on Nov. 8, 1914, will be celebrating her 100th birthday soon. She lived in Hyde County until after the death of her husband, Ira Holloway and now lives in a nursing home in Baltimore, MD. Holloway has been in Baltimore since 2007 and is being well taken care of at the nursing home and by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
