MAGGIE CARROW WHITE

Margie Carrow White, 87, of Plymouth died Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Roanoke Landing in Plymouth.

Born November 27, 1926, in Beaufort County she was the daughter of the late Thomas Carrow and Leah Stubbs Carrow and was preceded in death by her husband, George Norman White, Sr.; daughter, Anna Jane White; son-in-law, Joseph Conrad Cox; sisters, Edith C. Boyd, Mildred C. Mizelle, Viola C. Ange, Ruby Lea Mobley, Muriel C. Ange; brothers, Oscar Carrow, Mervin Carrow and Richard Carrow.  Margie was a retired cafeteria manager at Plymouth High School and member of First Christian Church.

Her family includes her daughters, Gloria W. Cox of Plymouth, N.C. and Rebecca W. Luton and husband Doremus of Plymouth, N.C.; sons, Norman White, Jr. of Austin, TX., Leigh White of Lillington, N.C. and Schennin White of Plymouth, N.C.; sisters, Rachel C. Salyers of Chesapeake, Va. and Naomi C. Hardison of New Bern, N.C.; brothers, Ronald Carrow of Pinetown, N.C. and Roscoe Carrow of Plymouth, N.C.; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm at First Christian Church, Plymouth with Reverend V. Tom Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.  Family will receive friends on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at First Christian Church Fellowship Hall.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Christian Church, 509 East Main Street, Plymouth, N.C. 27962.  Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.maitlandfuneralhome.com.
