CIRCLE OF FRIENDS: On Oct 24, members of the Chocowinity Middle School Circle of Friends Club presented a program on Down’s syndrome to the school during Tribe Pride time. Kylee Feld, Ayanna Gibbs, Juan Casiano, Kaila Lietz and Cassidy Havens each spoke about their friendships with students in Laura Lietz’s classroom. The students then introduced a video on Down’s syndrome as October is Down’s syndrome awareness month. After the video, all the members of the Circle of Friends Club were asked to come to the floor of the gym to be recognized by the entire student body. Members of the club are Kylee Feld, Mallory Nobles, Simaya Pope, Cheyenne Elks, Ulises Cisneros, Ayanna Gibbs, Juan Casiano, Kaila Lietz, Allie Dickinson, Ty Smith, Zachariah Green, Saramina Perez, Rahiem Jackson, Jamari Nelson, Kaitlyn Harris and Cassidy Havens. Lietz is the faculty advisor for this group
