ECU baseball coach, players speak to Chocowinity Middle students

CHOCOWINITY MIDDLE SCHOOL | CONTRIBUTED WORDS FROM ECU COACH AND PLAYERS: Cliff Godwin, head coach of the East Carolina University baseball team, along with four of his players, spoke to students at Chocowinity Middle School on Dec. 12 about setting goals and planning for a successful future. The players, Charlie Yorgen, Nick Durazo and Luke Lowery, each shared their thoughts on what has helped make them a successful student and player. After the presentation, CMS students were given the chance to ask questions of the coach and players. Godwin and his players visited CMS as a part of its weekly Tribe Pride initiative in which Fridays are dedicated to guest speakers for the student body.
