EDWARD G. WALLS

June 20, 1936 – Jan. 25, 2015

 

Edward Graham Walls, age 79, a resident of 5851 Rivercreek Dr., Washington, died Sunday January 25, 2015, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

A graveside service will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday January 28, 2015 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Pastor Dennis Barber will be officiating.

Mr. Walls was born in Wilson County on June 20, 1936 to the late Bennett Graham Walls and Coralia Holly. Mr. Walls was a high school graduate and attended two years of college. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was employed by Estes Trucking Company for 23 years. He was a member of the Washington Moose Lodge for 22 years. He was happily married to the former Jean Manseau for 30 years.

Survivors include his two children, Denise Morrison of Cary, Vic Walls of Wilson, five step children, David Williams and wife Pam, Diane Edwards and husband Johnny, Janet Williams, Patricia Jimenez and husband Alex, Danny Williams and wife Dawn, nine grandchildren,  nine great grandchildren, a sister, Irene Johnson of California, and two brothers, Luther Walls and Billy Walls both of Wilson.

Mr. Walls was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethal Collier, Coralia Tige and a brother, Roy Walls.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday January 27, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
