The Bunyan Ruritan Club met on March 23, 2015. Arthur Williams called the meeting to order and introduced the guest speaker, Barbara Tansey, PHD, president of BCCC. He also introduced two new guests.

Gerald Cameron led the group in singing, “America,” the food was blessed by Bonner Hawkins. The meal included fish, shrimp and all the trimmings. The dessert was lemon cake and brownies.

Arthur turned the meeting over to Barbara. She talked about the changes of BCCC and the future of it. The club presented the BCCC a check for $1,500 for two scholarships.

Carl Alligood, secretary read the minutes of the last meeting. The club voted 100% on two guests to become members. They are Heath Roberson and Edward Moore.

With no other business, Arthur asked Gerald to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Arthur adjourned the meeting.
