From the Humane Society of Beaufort County
It’s Christmas in June at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Center shelter and during the month of June, cats and kittens have reduced adoptions fees of $25 each. This fee includes spaying /neutering, the first round of shots, a microchip and worming, for each feline adopted. This is a reduced fee with the remainder paid by the Humane Society of Beaufort County.
This is the ideal time of the year to adopt, not during the frenzied time of the holiday season. The shelter is brimming with felines in beautiful colors, gender and ages. Have that special someone you think would like a feline friend, come into the shelter and choose one for themselves. With the money you save on the adoption, you can buy something special for the cat or kitten, and give that gift at Christmas.
The shelter is 3931 U.S. Highway 264 E., Washington. Hours the facility is open to the public are Mondays through Fridays, 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hurry! Don’t delay! This offer is in effect June 1 through June 30. Many great cats and kittens need good forever homes. Rest assured, you will have a happy Christmas.
