To the Editor:

We would like to thank all the people of Washington, Greenville and surrounding counties that gave prayers, clothes, furniture, appliances, cash, toys, et cetera, to our granddaughter Erica and her husband, J.R. Nimeskern, and their tow young children these past months. The lost almost everything in a pre-dawn, pre-Christmas fire on Bonner Street. Fortunately, they were not at home.

With this assistance and insurance they are now relocated in their new home and resuming their lives. The community’s, family’s, friends’ and strangers’ response has been overwhelming and greatly appreciated.
