Joseph E. Hofmann, age 89, a resident of Washington, passed away on July 29, 2015 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.  A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church in Washington, officiated by Rev. Benjamin Kifer. Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, 4500 Hwy 264 E., Washington, has been given the honor of being entrusted with serving the Hofmann family.
