To the Editor:

None of us want to go to the hospital but my wife recently had to, once as a planned outpatient and once to the emergency room.
We were totally impressed with every person we came in contact with on each visit to the Vidant Beaufort hospital, from the receptionist to the nurses and doctors.
They all were very, very professional, pleasant and made my wife feel at ease.
The outpatient staff was fantastic and going to the emergency room with chest pains got the entire staff to jump right in and begin their evaluation and immediate steps to relieve the pain.
There are many reasons to comfortably live in an area and I can assure you that having the Vidant Beaufort hospital to depend on is one of those reasons.
Thank you, admin folks, nurses and doctors for a job well done and appreciated.
