Monkey Lee was a very special sister, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by a daughter: Katherine C. Jeffers and husband George; a son:  George Collin Sheppard; two stepsons: Larry Congleton and Steve Congleton; two sisters: Edith C. Foreman and Shirley C. Whisenant and a brother: Jesse S. Coward and his wife, Annie. Mrs. Congleton also has eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Monkey Lee was preceded in death by a daughter: Santa Faye Woolard; a granddaughter: Connie Sheppard; and two brothers-in-law: Beryl Foreman and Walter Jason Whisenant.

The family will receive friends 10:00 AM Wednesday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and at 10:45 AM will follow in procession to the cemetery.
