Around 5 p.m. Thursday emergency services responded to the scene of a crash on East 11th Street. According to witnesses, the driver of a gray Ford Fusion swiped the side of a Dodge Charger parked on the street and flipped her car. The woman was being treated at the scene and was not seriously injured. Neighbors expressed bewilderment as to how the accident could’ve happened on a quiet, low-traffic street. The owner of the Dodge Charger said he came out of his house to see about the commotion and saw his damaged car, on which he said he hasn’t even made a payment yet. Authorities said the cause of the accident was still under investigation.
