Cecelia P. Brooks Warrington

Mrs. Cecelia Paul Brooks Warrington, age 73, a resident of Ridgewood Manor Nursing Center died Sunday, September 27, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 1, 2015 at St. Clair’s Church of Christ and will be conducted by Craig Hagen. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Lenny Paul, Larry Paul, Phillip Paul, Jay Paul, Brooks Blake and Zack Blake will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Warrington was born in Beaufort County on March 13, 1942 to the late Phillip and Odessa McGowan Paul. She was a 1960 graduate of Bath High School, attended Wilson School of Cosmetology and was a self-employed hairdresser. She was formerly married to Dan Allen Brooks who survives and then married William J. Warrington III who preceded her in death. Mrs. Warrington was a member of St. Clair’s Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Phelicia Phishnoch of Bath, Caressa Liverman and husband Ellis of Greenville; one son, Roger Allen Brooks of Bath; four grandchildren, Jada Burroughs, Carlie Liverman, Brooks Blake and Zach Blake. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Carol Paul and Rufus Marlow

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of her son, Roger Brooks, 403 Handy’s Point Lane, Bath.
