Elise A. Staats of Chocowinity Middle School attended a program held at the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching, a recognized national leader in professional development programming for our state’s teachers.

Elise “Lisa” Staats is a sixth-grade language arts teacher and a seventh-grade math teacher. She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in math education. She has taught at Chocowinity Middle for more than 15 years.
