From Riverwalk Gallery
RiverWalk Gallery and Arts Center, Washington’s longest running art gallery, is hosting a special “Tea at RiverWalk” book signing reception, featuring Marni Graff and Angela Beach Silverthorne, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Oct. 18.
Angela will read from her novel “Cries of Innocence”, set in the small coastal community of Silverton, where an evil presence resides. Over time, most residents have grown numb to its insidious and subtle presence. A few have resisted.
Silverthorne is the co-author of the award-winning novel, “Depression Cookies.” Her short stories and poetry have been featured in numerous magazines and websites. Currently writing the sequel to her new novel, “Cries of Innocence,” she resides in eastern North Carolina and uses her home state as the setting in her books.

Graff will share a reading from her newest novel “Death Unscripted.” Based on her real work during her nursing career, Trudy Genova has the best job any nurse could want, working on set as medical consultant for a movie studio. No more uniforms, bedpans or emergencies until the actor whose overtures she’s refused dies suddenly while taping a hospital scene.
Graff lives in on the Pungo River in rural North Carolina. She’s a member of Sisters in Crime, and runs the N.C. Writers Read program in Belhaven. The author of screenplays, stories, essays and poetry, and two mystery series, you can visit her at her blog, http://auntiemwrites.com/
Refreshments will be served at this free event.
