Rosa Griggs Carey, 80, of Roper, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at the Williamston House in Williamston. Funeral service will be held Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Scuppernong Church of Christ with Cleve Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family received friends on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Scuppernong Church of Christ and at other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
