Reading and math achievement at John Cotten Tayloe

JOHN COTTEN TAYLOE ACHIEVEMENTS: Christie Hardee's second-grade class from John Cotten Tayloe earned reading and math achievement medals this nine weeks based on their AR performance, reading and math class averages. Students pictured from left to right are: Calek Smaw, Chad Bright, Devon Davis, Lanaya McKinney and Magan Ledbetter. Calek received a reading medal for the highest reading average in the class. Chad received a math medal for the highest average in math. Devon, Chad, Lanaya and Magan received reading medals for Accelerated Reading. The AR medals were given based on students' number of tests taken and passed, overall average and total points. More medals will be awarded after the second nine weeks ends in January.
