Ann Rieger McKibben, age 79, a resident of 415 Lawson Road, Washington, was laid to rest November 25, 2015.
A memorial mass will be at 3:15 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, 112 West 9th Street, Washington, with Father Buckler officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
The family will receive friends following the service at her home, 415 Lawson Road, Washington.
Ann will be reunited with her late husband William “Bill” McKibben in heaven. She was a lovely wife, mother to 3 sons and a grandmother of 4. She retired from Optimum Filtration.
She was talented at many, many things, an avid reader and saw beauty in art and craftsmanship. She loved to sew, cross-stitch, paint and create and cook, which she instilled in her family and friends. She loved to travel and more than anything cook and take care of her family.
Surviving are her three sons, Peter Michael McKibben, Timothy Mark McKibben, James Matthew McKibben; daughter-in-law Shelly Southerland; granddaughters, Amanda Kay McKibben, Evann Leigh McKibben, Kimberly Logan McKibben, Brooklyn Ann McKibben; two sisters, Barb in Ohio and Mary in Washington, DC; and brother, Tom in California.
