EASTERN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
SCAVENGER HUNT: Mrs. Monica Davis and Mrs. Jonita Dixon’s first-grade class at Eastern Elementary enjoyed a scavenger hunt. The students looked for nonfiction text features in nonfiction books. Nonfiction text features include table of contents, bold words, diagrams, real pictures, glossary and an index. Students worked in groups to find all the features.
