Mr. Lee Judkins Bond Sr.
Oct. 2, 1918 – Dec. 8, 2015 

Mr. Lee Judkins Bond Sr., age 97, a resident of Belhaven, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at his home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Belhaven Missionary Baptist Church and will be conducted by Rev. David Pierce. Burial will follow in Smithton Cemetery. W.D. Paul, Ray Paul, Fred Smith IV, Brandon Phelps, Cade Smith, Marshall Marslender and Tim Phelps will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Bond was born on October 2, 1918 in Portsmouth, VA to the late Oliver and Fannie Grizzard Bond. On October 25, 1944 he married Cora Elizabeth Smith who preceded him in death on November 19, 2014. He was a member of Belhaven Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Golden and husband Phillip, Linda Lindley and husband James, one son, Lee J. Bond Jr. and wife Carol, one brother, Richard Bond and wife Stella, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday, December 11, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven.
