EASTERN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AROUND THE WORLD: Students in Elizabeth Sanders’ class at Eastern Elementary are traveling around the world learning about holidays! They have learned the three main December holidays in the United States are Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Students are also learning from what countries’ different Christmas traditions came. Each country they visit they are learning how they say, "Merry Christmas," and collecting a souvenir. They have filled out their passports and boarding passes, and are ready to travel the world!
