Mrs. Grace “Nancy” Gaskins Mills, 83, died Monday, January 25, 2016.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 2 pm in Pinewood Memorial Park, officiated by the Rev. James Ed Gurkins.

Mrs. Mills, a native of Pitt County, was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Dora Gaskins. She resided in Grimesland and had been employed at Hamilton Beach in Washington for a number of years. For the past two years she had made her home in Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Greenville.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Mills in 2006; sisters, Annie Dickerson, Edith Hardee and Rachel Maines; and brothers, Wilbur and Marvin Gaskins.

She is survived by her: daughter, Diane Mills and husband, Riley; grandchildren, Carol Anne Mills Briley and husband, Steven, Corey Mills and wife, Theresa and great-grandson, Austin Lindner, all of Black Jack; and a sister, Janie Wadford, of Bell Arthur.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
