Mr. Carroll James Berry, age 61, a resident of 302 Aberdeen Drive, Washington, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM Friday, February 5, 2016 from the chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, conducted by Pastor David Linton. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Coley Moore, Melvin Ward, Ronald Gurganus, Terry Short, William Peyton and Gary Stevens Davis Jr. Gary Davis will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Mr. Berry was born in Beaufort County on July 4, 1954. He was the son of the late James Earl Berry and Eloise Squires Berry. Mr. Berry was a maintenance supervisor with Mid-East Regional Housing. In his spare time, he loved to fish and work on cars.
Mr. Berry was married to the former Emily Victoria “Vicki” Harding, who survives.
Mr. Berry is survived by his wife, Vicki of the home; three children, Billy Barringer of Washington, Misty Thomas of Chocowinity, Christina Baker and husband, Peter of Chocowinity; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Berry, Emily Jackson, Zack Jenkins, Dylan Jenkins, Alexander Baker, Kaitlin Lewis, Cassidy Baker; two sisters, Dale Ann Edwards of Chocowinity, Cindy Lou McRaith of Houston, TX; and sister-in-law, Sissy Berry of Grifton.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Berry was preceded in death by a grandchild, Tyler Berry and two brothers, Jimmy Berry and Richard Squires.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Friday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington and other times at his home.
