WESLEY AND RAMONA ARMSTRONG OF COLUMBIA ANNOUNCE the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, MaryAnn McKenzie Armstrong, to Christopher Thomas Hassell, son of Chris and Ginger Hassell, also of Columbia. MaryAnn has an Associate in Arts and is currently enrolled in Cosmetology classes at Beaufort County Community College where she will receive an Associate in Science. She plans a career in cosmetology. Christopher has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He is currently enrolled in basic law enforcement training at Pitt Community College. Upon graduation in May 2016, he plans a career in law enforcement. A tentative wedding date is planned for August of 2017.
