VAIL STEWART RUMLEY PAMLICO PRESENT: Adrienne Halstead, with daughter Emily and son Jacob, took a special Easter tour of the Pamlico aboard the Belle of Washington. The cruising boat, owned by John Butler and Richard Smoot, took passengers on a brunch cruise Sunday. For the Halstead family, based at Fort Bragg, the trip was an Easter gift from husband, dad and Sgt. 1st Class Robert Halstead, who is on a six-month deployment in Afghanistan. “He looked for something online for us to do for Easter and he found this,” Adrienne Halstead said. The Halstead children said they enjoyed the trip, and hosts Butler and Smoot said they were honored to have the family chose Easter brunch on the Belle on Sunday.
