Better eating class at Belhaven Seniors’ Center, 10 a.m. Instructor Peggy Bonner. 274 E. Main St., Belhaven.

Seniors exercise class with instructor Peggy Bonner every Tuesday and Thursday at the Belhaven Seniors’ Center, 274 E. Main St., Belhaven, at 10:30 a.m. The class is free, but small donations per class visit are appreciated. Call 252-943-2992 for more information.

“Growing A Fit Community” program, every Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. 150 Swamp Road, Pantego. Healthy Living includes discussion of social issues, including environmental, Spanish and English teaching, juicing, line dancing and exercise classes. All interested seniors, call 252-943-3822.

 

FRIDAY, APRIL 8

Registration due for Mattamuskeet High School class reunion (1971-1973), Davis Youth Center, Engelhard, from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. Informal reception begins at 6 p.m.; dinner will be from 7-9 p.m. with dancing afterward. SATURDAY, APRIL 9

Riverside Gospel Sing every Saturday at 7 p.m. at Riverside Campgrounds, N.C. Highway 45 North, Ponzer. Admission is free. Includes snack bar with hot dogs, popcorn, candy and drinks. The Northeast Elementary School Improvement Team will meet at 3:30 p.m. in the media center. The public is invited.

Hyde County Hotline’s second annual Race Across the Lake, N.C. Highway 94 and North Lake Road, Fairfield. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m.
