Choral Society holds spring performance

BEAUFORT COUNTY CHORAL SOCIETY PAMLICO PERFORMANCE: The Beaufort County Choral Society held its first concert on the south side of the Pamlico River on May 1 at the PotashCorp-Aurora Employee Center. Titled “River Song,” the spring concert included songs such as “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands,” “When I Lift Up My Head,” “Down to the River to Pray,” “Alleluia” and several others. Pictured is the group during the Potash performance. The group will perform the program again Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Turnage Theater and again Sunday at St. Thomas Church in Bath at 3 p.m. For more information on joining the organization, contact Judi Hickson at 252-974-1033.
