Adam Lopez, age 47, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at his home in Chocowinity, after losing his battle with cancer.
Adam was born on January 30, 1969, in Aurora, CO. He grew up in Denver, CO, and Yazoo City and Vicksburg, MS, and lived most of his adult life in Washington and Chocowinity. He was a graduate of Vicksburg High School and East Carolina University, and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran having served in Desert Storm.
Adam was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Troy Everett of Yazoo City, MS; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Lopez of Denver, CO; and his parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Garland S. Clark of Chocowinity.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Lopez of Yazoo City, MS; his wife, Christy Clark Lopez of Chocowinity; two sons, Tony of San Diego, CA, and Stone of Chocowinity; two daughters, Tiara and Chyna, both of Chocowinity; a brother Ashley (Stephanie) of Vicksburg, MS; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws in Colorado, Mississippi and North Carolina.
Cremation is by Congleton Funeral Home and Cremations of Greenville, NC.
