From Cub Pack 21

Cub Pack 21, sponsored by First Christian Church of Washington, held its annual Blue and Gold dinner May 9. The event was held at the Salvation Army facility on Sixth Street. Following dinner, Billy Gurkin, district commissioner, made a presentation on behalf of Friends of Scouting. Anthony Beacham, Scoutmaster of Cub Pack 21, followed the presentation with a Court of Honor presentation for members of the pack. Jane Alligood, unit commissioner for Pack 21 and Troop 21, expressed appreciation to the Salvation Army for providing meeting space for the pack since First Christian Church burned. She invited everyone present to the reception at the church June 12. Pack 21 will resume meeting at the church after the dedication service.
