Shelter volunteer recognized for 30 years of service

: COMMUNITY SERVANT: Harlan MacKendrick was honored for his 30 years of service to the Zion Shelter and Kitchen on May 24 at the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church. Community members, family and friends gathered for the ceremony, which included dinner and a plaque given to MacKendrick, commemorating his longtime service to the community.
