Mr. E. Wade Cullifer, age 78, a resident of Pinetown, died Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Ridgewood Manor.

A graveside service will be held 11:00am Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Cullifer Family Cemetery in Pinetown.

Mr. Cullifer was born on April 12, 1938 to the late Ernest N. Cullifer and Mary Elizabeth Windley. He was married to Angela F. Cullifer for 36 years. Over the years, he owned his own construction businesses. Mr. Cullifer devoted much time and effort as a leader in Alcoholics Anonymous. He loved animals, especially his dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Angela F. Cullifer, a stepdaughter, Michelle “Shelley” Morris, three grandchildren, a sister, Annie Flowers and husband Ronnie of Belhaven, his best friend, Jimmy Waters of Belhaven, and his dog, Lucy Lou.

He is preceded in death by two children, Michael Cullifer and Susan Cullifer, a sister, Hulda Sullivan and his favorite dog, CC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, June 3, 2016 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
