Radar

Handsome in his American shorthair coat of black and white, this 1-year-old, bi-color fellow is a charmer. Huge yellow-green eyes, and a heart full of love and affection, Radar will win you over in a flash. Smart, affectionate, loving and attentive, he will be a playmate, friend and companion in a variety of good, forever home settings. Come in and meet Radar, he’s available through the following Saturday at the shelter.

Cheri

At 1 year old, our medium-size, retriever/Labrador mix is sweet, friendly, funloving, and beautiful in her shorthair coat of deep rust and accents of white. Cheri, a smart girl who is eager to learn, will need owner(s) willing to give her love, attention, exercise in a fenced area or on leash and basic obedience training. Cheri deserves a good, loving forever home where she can be a faithful companion and pet.

Come in and meet her, she’s available through the following Saturday at the shelter.

During the month of June, cats and kittens at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility will have an adoption fee of $35. This fee includes spaying/neutering, the first round of shots, a microchip and worming for each feline adopted. This is a reduced fee with the remainder paid by the Humane Society of Beaufort County. Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.
