Washington celebrates Fourth of July

Youngsters in Washington brought out their creativity with a bicycle-decorating contest and a mini-parade along Stewart Parkway to show off their work. Guided by the Washington Police Department, the bicycle parade was followed by a line of motorcycles. The events were all part of downtown Washington’s Fourth of July celebration. Food and craft vendors lined the street, and local musicians provided entertainment.
