The A to Z Doll Club met held its June meeting at the China Bay Restaurant in Chocowinity. Those present included Betty Ross, Marguerite Ferry, Colleen Lupton, Joyce Carawan, Patricia Harris, Catherine Fulford, Marti Buchanan, Martha Seighman and Donna, Brooke and Bailey Hodges.
The group enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch following a prayer asked by Joyce C. Members serenaded birthday girl Martha S (22).
All present received a door prize, and show and tell included male dolls, patriotic dolls and items of choice. Betty’s table decorations included Uncle Sam and Betsy Ross figurines and a patriotic centerpiece.
The group will hold its July 25 Doll Club meeting again at the China Bay Restaurant at 11:30 a.m. Doll collectors and anyone interested in dolls are invited to attend the Dutch-treat luncheon/meeting.
The meeting was adjourned for visiting.
