Mr. Freddy Alvin “Fred” Brooks Sr., age 61, a resident of Grimesland, NC, died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at his home.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Pamlico Beach Community Cemetery at Ryder Hill.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.
