Dr. Jimmy A. Moore Jr., pastor of First Baptist Church in Washington, joined that great cloud of witnesses on Monday, July 18, 2016, surrounded by his family.

A service of Worship, Hope and Resurrection will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Washington. A service of Christian burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon Saturday, July 23, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Washington, and following the burial Sunday, a reception will be held in memory of Dr. Moore at the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church.
