Telephone system down at BCCC

The telephone system at Beaufort County Community College was damaged during a thunderstorm on July 19. The college had scheduled the installation of a new telephone system across the campus for the summer of 2016. Due to the damage, the college is speeding up installation of the new system instead of repairing the damaged and outdated system.

As a result, some telephone service will be down until July 27. During this time, all campus operations will continue as normal. Telephone lines for the admissions and financial aid offices are working, but students and prospective students will have to call those lines directly. Other departments can still be called, but students will be sent to voicemail. All departments can be emailed, as well.

We apologize for any inconvenience to our students and appreciate your patience while we make the necessary repairs.
