The law firm of Rodman, Holscher, Peck & Edwards, P.A., is pleased to announce that Chad Stoop has joined the firm as an associate. Stoop graduated with honors from Barton College in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and graduated with honors from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2002.

Stoop practiced law for the past 13 years as an assistant district attorney in both District 10, which includes Wake County, and District 2, which includes Beaufort, Hyde, Martin, Tyrrell and Washington counties. He intends to use his years of experience in the area of criminal defense and develop a general civil practice.

Stoop serves as a board member for Pungo Christian Academy and serves as the president of East Beaufort Girls Softball League.
