From AgCarolina Farm Credit
AgCarolina Farm Credit is celebrating 100 years of service to the rural and agricultural communities of eastern North Carolina. In conjunction with this celebration, the member-owned cooperative is asking customers, employees and friends of AgCarolina Farm Credit to share photographic memories from the last 100 years of agriculture.
Participants can submit vintage farm photos of farm equipment, farm scenes, farm families and various other snapshots to visualize a step back in time. Select photo entries will be used in a commemorative edition of AgCarolina Farm Credit’s Leader magazine, as well as on AgCarolina social media platforms.
AgCarolina Farm Credit requests participants to mail submissions by the Sept. 30 deadline to the Marketing Department, P.O. Box 14789, Raleigh, NC 27620. Participants are encouraged to provide details of photo submissions and to include name and address information for photos to be returned to their owner.
“As we celebrate our 100th anniversary of serving North Carolina farmers and rural citizens, we want to see photos depicting the rural way of life,” said Linda Strickland, AgCarolina senior vice president of marketing. “Whether your photos are black and white, of old-timey farm equipment, of a scene at a tobacco warehouse, or in the field, we look forward to sharing your vintage photos from across eastern North Carolina.”
If there are questions regarding submissions to the AgCarolina Farm Credit vintage farm photo request, please feel free to contact AgCarolina Farm Credit’s Marketing Department.
