Dr. June Atkinson, N.C. superintendent of public instruction, will visit Tyrrell County Schools on Thursday, Sept. 22.

Atkinson is scheduled to meet with superintendents from the northeast region on Sept. 21 and will visit TCS classrooms on the afternoon of Sept. 22.

“Dr. Atkinson is very interested in our new curriculum initiatives, technology implementation, Career and Technical Education pathways and our Early College model,” Dr. Will Hoffman, Tyrrell superintendent, stated.
