Cindy Schneider’s students at Chocowinity Middle School have written a book, “Haunts from CMS Enrichment 2016,” a collection of scary tales that the students created themselves. Students spent time last year writing and editing their stories with their peers during Schneider’s enrichment period. Existing tales of suspense and horror were used as examples. Once the students had finished creating their masterpieces, Schneider had them collected and published in a hardback book. The students who participated were: Kinzey Alexander, Trey Alligood, Hayden Arbogast, Luke Avery, Roman Butler, Jack-Ryan Roark, Taylor Cole, Amber Dickinson, Kirmyah Edmondson, Marie Frady, Laniyah Grady, Matthew Pursell, Benjamin Janes, Megan Jensen, Mackenzie Jeter, Gabriel Matthews, Brandon Miller, Aaron Perkins, Noah Pounds, Summer Shavender, Madison Sneed, Ashley Tripp, Jazmin Hernandez, Walker Hill and Rory Miller.
