Post-storm flooding from Hurricane Matthew, which impacted the area over the weekend, continues to make travel tough for Beaufort County and surrounding areas. Here is an update on which major roads are and are not open, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

BEAUFORT COUNTY

U.S. Highway 264 between Beaufort County and Pitt County is open.

Cherry Run Road is closed in both directions.

 

MARTIN COUNTY

North Main Street is closed in both directions.

Jerden Thicket Rd. is closed in both directions.

Main Street is closed in both directions.

Dymond City Rd. is closed in both directions.

 

PITT COUNTY

N.C. Highway 11 is closed in the southbound direction.

N.C. Highway 222 is closed in both directions.

N.C. Highway 33 is closed in both directions near mile marker 49 and near Falkland.

N.C. Highway 33 East in Greenville is closed in both directions.

10th Street in Greenville is closed in both directions.

Seven Pines Road is closed in both directions.

Spain Bridge Road is closed in both directions.

Old River Road  is closed in both directions.

Stokes Rd. is closed in both directions.

Holland Rd. is closed in both directions.

Mumford Road is closed in both directions.

Old Pactolus Road is closed in both directions.

Grimesland Bridge Road is closed in both directions.

Eastern Pines is closed in both directions.

Herman Garris Road is closed in both directions.

Black Jack-Simpson Road is closed in both directions.

Tucker Road is closed in both directions.

Robert Little Road is closed in both directions.

Cletus Hart Road is closed in both directions.

Boss McLawhorn Road is closed in both directions.

US 264 is is closed in both directions between mile markers 75 and 77.

 

CRAVEN COUNTY

NC 118 is closed in both directions.

SR 1400 is closed in both directions.

SW Craven Middle Sch. Rd. is closed in both directions.

Cool Springs Rd. is closed in both directions.

SR 1436 is closed in both directions.

Streets Ferry Rd. is closed in both directions.

Piney Neck Rd. is closed in both directions.

Bear Hole Rd. is closed in both directions.

Pughtown Rd. is closed in both directions.

Pitt Co. Line Rd. is closed in both directions.

Maple Cypress Rd. is closed in both directions.

Butler Ford Rd. is closed in both directions.

 

WASHINGTON COUNTY

Spruill Bridge Road is closed in both directions.

Ambrose Road is closed in both directions.

Crossroad near Roper is closed in both directions.

Deep Creek Landing near Creswell is closed in both directions.

Cherry Rd. is closed in both directions.
