Eastern Elementary hosts 2nd Movie Night

After Hurricane Matthew forced its reschedule, Eastern Elementary School held its second Movie Night at Festival Park on Thursday. The event, sponsored by Bright Futures, Vidant Beaufort Hospital, Butch Oliver with Downeast Entertainment, the City of Washington and Washington Harbor District Alliance, featured the movie “Toy Story” on the big screen. Before the movie, families could also have ice cones, play cornhole, dance or have their face painted. Donations for flood victims were also accepted. Movie Night is meant to be a family event for people around the county, not just those at Eastern Elementary.
