Washington High celebrates homecoming

Washington police blocked off the streets downtown as the Pam Pack faithful lined them and awaited the annual homecoming parade Friday afternoon. Students from Washington High, P.S. Jones Middle and Eastern Elementary schools participated, and viewers also enjoyed floats and classic cars carrying members of the homecoming court. Supporters were ready to meet the North Pitt team head on Friday night for the school’s homecoming football game, which the Pam Pack won 21-19.
