Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Boots

At 9 months old, Boots, our American shorthair, female, mackerel tabby, juvenile kitten is a love bug! With a stunning display of stripes in ivory, pewter and soft warm gray — plus eyes that are huge and green. She is a gorgeous cat, but her beauty doesn’t stop there: this friendly, loving, playful, adoring girl will make a fantastic pet, playmate and companion in a variety of good forever home scenarios. Adam and Saul

These gorgeous 1-year-old, male, American shorthair tabbies are all decked out in their Sunday best. Both share colors of slate gray, creamy gray and ivory. Adam’s appearance is slightly darker with the addition of smoky gray and Saul’s is a tad lighter with the addition of cream. The combination and placement of their markings create dramatic stripes that are truly eye candy. Almost identical in looks and demeanor, they are a fun pair. Lovers of attention and petting, they are calm, gentle, friendly and playful. Adam and Saul will make a wonderful pets and companions in a variety of good, forever home settings.
