Tyrrell County Schools was scheduled to place computers at Tyrrell House on Tuesday, Nov. 8, for the residents to use.

Allen Lee, school district technology director, has collaborated with the Tyrrell House staff to place hardware in the senior assisted living facility on U.S. Highway 64 East in Columbia that opened in August.

Business Finance and Technology teacher Eric Roughton is identifying Career and technology Education students who will be invited to work with the residents to enhance their technology skills.

“We are very excited about this great opportunity for our students and staff to learn from and serve these residents in our community,” said Tyrrell Schools superintendent Dr. Will Hoffman.
